Kennedy started at Edge as a rider and fell in love with the riding at her first pedal stroke. Her cheer and dance background help her to format each work out to push you to your limit. She believes that what doesn’t challenge you will not change you and the change starts within. Kennedy brings her energy, spunk and heart every time she steps on that podium. Her goal by the end of your 45 minutes is to have you connected with your inner strength, unleashing the real you.

Why do you ride and climb?
I ride because I when I step into the room I feel rejuvenated. It is me time and something I look forward to in my day. When a room is riding together as one I feel inspired and find confidence in what I’m doing.

Do you have kids or pets?
I have 2 cats and 1 dog. I am definitely a cat person but can’t get enough of those doggy cuddles. My friends joke I will be the weird cat lady at our high-school reunion…and they aren’t wrong.

What type of music can we expect to hear in your class?
Expect to hear hip hop and rap, but I also can’t get enough of pop edm. My favorite artists are Post Molone, R3HAB, Galantis and Khalid. I like to keep it different and trending to have a fun and successful ride.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
I guess you could say my guilty pleasure is Chic Fil A. Some nights after the studio I can’t pass up a good spicy chicken sandwich. I mean have you had it?!

What’s your favorite move on the bike and/or Power Tower?
It’s hard to pick just one but my favorite move on the bike is intervals. It gives me a sense of power and control while making me feel breathless.

Do you have a pre/post-class ritual?
My pre-class ritual includes listening to my playlist on the way to the studio. You would be surprised how many beat drops I can get through on the short 5 minute ride.

What is your favorite thing to eat before or after class?
My favorite thing to eat before class would probably oddly enough have to be a string cheese. It’s fast and easy out the door!
