How do I schedule a class?

Classes are offered at Edge Studios 7 days a week. Classes can be booked online once you create an account. After you have paid classes on your account you can schedule a space, bike or climber. You can also call the studio and one of our fabulous front desk staff will be happy to help set you up.

What is your cancellation policy?

Classes may be canceled up to 12 hours prior to the scheduled class and your class credit will be returned to your account. If you cancel within 12 hours of your class, your class credit will not be returned to your account. If you have an unlimited monthly and do not cancel more than 12 hours in advance, you will be charged a late cancellation fee equivalent to the single class rate. Please cancel through Edge Studios website or by calling our front desk staff. At this time, we do not accept cancellations via email, Facebook, Instagram, text message. What if I am running late for class?

Mat space, bikes, and climbers are given away 2 minutes prior to class start time to anyone who is present from the waitlist. Edge staff will fill spots from the waitlist in the order from top to bottom; not in order of client arrival. Please call ahead if you are running late to secure your spot! We will hold your space for the first 10 minutes of class. For the benefit and enjoyment of all our clients, you may not enter class 10 minutes after it has begun.

Can I share my class package or membership with another person?

At this time, Edge Studios does not accommodate package sharing or transfers.

Do I need to have my own account?

Yes. Each client must have their own package and account, as well as sign a waiver in order to participate in Edge Studios classes.

Do you sell gift certificates?

We sure do! Please visit our friendly staff and they will assist you with purchasing a gift certificate. Gift certificates do not expire and can be used for classes or merchandise. Once a class is purchased it will expire just like any other class purchased. Please note that class packages are not gift certificates. Please see our full terms for details.

Do you have water in the studio?

You can fill your water bottle at our purified water filling station, or we have bottled water and a variety of refillable bottles for sale.

I am new to the studio. Will someone help me set up?

Absolutely! Our full-service staff is on hand to assist you with class setup. Please arrive no later than 20 minutes before your first class so we can check you in and get you properly set up on your mat, bike, or climber.

What facilities do you have at Edge?

We have digital lockers, restrooms with showers, toiletries, towels, hair dryers, hair ties, earplugs, and other necessities on site.

Do you sell retail?

We carry women’s and men’s clothing and any other workout accessories you may need to Find Your Zen, Rock Your Ride or Reach New Heights!

What is your retail return policy?

Retail that is unworn with tags still attached can be returned within 15 days of purchase.


Do I need my own mat or other yoga accessories?

We recommend you bring your own mat, yoga towel, as well as plenty of water. If you do not have these items, you can purchase or rent them from our front desk staff. Props including blocks, straps, and blankets are available for use in the studio at no additional cost.

Our classes are heated with far infrared heat and range from 85∞ up to 100∞.

Are the classes for all levels?

All levels are welcome in any of our yoga classes, however, we recommend that new students begin their journey in the Basics Power Flow class. We encourage all Edge clients to listen to their bodies and take classes at their own pace. Our instructors will offer modifications when needed.

How long are the classes?

What should I wear to class?

Your clothing should have stretch and sweat-wicking ability. We do not recommend overly baggy or cotton clothing as it tends to bunch and hold moisture. We carry clothing at the studio if you are in need of yoga appropriate togs!

What is the minimum age requirement to participate in a yoga class?

Clients must be age 13 or older to participate in yoga classes at Edge Studios and must have a parent or legal guardian present at their first class to sign a waiver and release. Edge will hold children’s yoga classes periodically which will not be heated.


Do I need special shoes?

Yes, SPD clips will work. Rental shoes for your first class is free, and after that there is $3 charge per class. We also retail cycle shoes in the studio.

Do I need to bring my own towel?

We’ve got you covered. A dry towel is placed on your bike before class and a cold towel is provided at the end of class.

What type of cycling classes do you offer?

Offered 7 days a week, our signature 45-minute full-body workout is one-of-a-kind in Sacramento. We’ve taken the basic spin concept and incorporated upper body & core work to pack a full-body punch allowing you to burn calories, blast fat, and tone muscles. If you’re looking to transform your body, shake up your current workout routine, or you’re searching for a high energy experience, this is the class for you.

Are the classes for all levels?

Yes! With the ability to adjust resistance, cycle workouts are for all levels. We encourage you to push yourself in class and have fun, but this is your workout and you should not do any moves that are uncomfortable. We always recommend you consult a medical professional before starting a new exercise program.

How long are the classes?

Classes are 45 minutes. Our 30/30 class is 30 minutes of cycle followed by 30 minutes in the yoga stretch room.

What should I wear to class?

We recommend tight-fitting pants or shorts. Remember to bring socks! If you forget, we have socks for sale.

What's the age requirement to participate in a cycle class?

Riders ages 13-17 may participate in a cycle class, but we require a parent or legal guardian be present and sign a waiver in the studio prior to their first ride.

Is there a height requirement for the bikes?

You must be 4’11” minimum to ride.

Is there any way to make the seat more comfortable?

As a beginner in cycle class, the seat may take some getting used to. It may help to wear padded cycle shorts. In a short period of time, you should be acclimated and won’t need anything additional.


What should I wear to class?

A tank or t-shirt and form-fitting pants or shorts. Be ready to sweat!

Do I need to bring my own towel?

We have you covered. A towel will be available on your climber followed by a cold towel to cool you off at the end of your class.

Are the classes for all levels?

With any of the climb classes you can stop at any time or change the resistance on your climber. We offer high energy and encouragement, but this is your class and your workout. You should always consult with a physician before starting a new exercise program.
